Creating compelling stories has become essential for connecting your brand to your audience and engaging them in a meaningful, and human way. Here are individual examples of styles and approaches – all conceived and crafted to achieve strategic goals.
Whether it be captured video, found footage, motion graphics, or 3D, it starts with the right strategy, the right story, and then the approach that best brings it all to life (and of course where budget will allow).
TROPHY – a performance and living installation built around individual and personal stories of transformation. I was responsible for the initial concept and video direction, but our video team crafted something truly beautiful mixing 3D graphics, along with found and captured footage. This video was our contribution to the event. We just wanted to help. It was a great event that took place just outside our office doors. We had to get involved.

Fullscript is a Carbon Neutral company that values not only preventative health, but the health of our planet. I was the Creative Director on this project, working on initial direction and storyboards, along with a talented editor and writer.
This Fullscript promotional video, was based on found footage and was created to promote their platform, wellness, and a proactive way to manage your health.
We created a series of daily videos that were shot and edited in a day for social media deployment the next morning. This helped show those who couldn’t attend what they were missing. The Nashville vibe truly added a fun layer to the overall theme.
This was a video used to kick-off the Commvault GO conference. There were acrobats that performed an aerial act on either side of it, so the video was designed to be atmospheric and highly stylized to act as a layer to the overall performance.
This is the primary Fullscript explainer video that walks through the simplest of explanations for its wellness platform and service.
Fullscript and DrChrono – two great platforms partnering together. This was created to be an announcement video, primarily used for social media. My role included concept development, storyboarding, and creating and sourcing assets.

We captured a series of customer testimonial videos. Our team brought their stories to life with overplayed graphics. My role included ideation, creative direction and storyboarding, both the intro sequence, as well as graphics throughout the series. I also directed the video shoot for the branded opening sequence.
I travelled throughout the United States, the UK, Germany and Vienna to capture customer testimonials for Unify. I travelled with a Director of Photography and worked with local crews. I directed the interview, along with all b-roll footage captured on location. One day of shooting, then off to the airport for another stop. All videos were edited by our video team here in Ottawa. This video is one example of several.
Fullscript is a digital health platform that helps practitioners build personalized treatment plans, with access to top-quality supplements.
As Creative Director, I led my department and managed a talented team of designers, writers, and videographers. Together, we worked collaboratively with the marketing team, along with other departments to support our communication goals.
I led a brand refresh designed to modernize the company’s image and differentiate it from its top competitors. This refresh included both visual and messaging brand elements.
The aim was also to create distinct graphic elements that would help define the essence of the brand while providing maximum flexibility to accommodate our diverse campaigns activities.

Unify is a German Enterprise communications organization that focuses on technology that enables team collaboration. They are a global company with offices in North America, Asia Pac, South America, and Europe.
Scope
To rename and rebrand Siemens Enterprise Communications globally.
My role
I led the team as the Creative Director on the account. We needed to rebrand every single element of the corporation from naming, branding, video, to sound design and beyond. And, had to happen all at once – globally.
We were the lead agency in charge of the rebrand. We trained local agencies, as well as those specializing in exterior signage, trade show booth design, sound design and product fabrication.

Scope
To brand and promote a new collaboration platform.
My Role
My team branded this new solution. The scope included the logo, collateral, digital advertising, custom photography, and online video demos.

We created a series of short videos that show just how easy the platform is to use. By creating a series rather than a long video, new developments could be added and viewers could easily find what they want to know more about.
Commvault is a New Jersey based data protection and information management software company.
Scope
To bring our theme to life – “Picture the Possibilities”. We needed to reinforce the message that organizations use their data to do incredible things.
My role
I managed my creative team as we developed all branded content to promote the event, as well as all onsite branding, keynotes, stage videos and promotional videos. We approached the challenge with clear phases for concept, creative, and production. But like any event of its size, it was a very rewarding mad dash.
We also produced on-site daily video recaps to feed social media and to help promote next year’s event.

To help promote the event through a social campaign and promotional video.
My Role
I worked closely with an amazing video team to help create a campaign and video. I was responsible for the initial concept and video direction, but our video team crafted something truly beautiful and miles above what was expected. It was free after-all. We just wanted to help. It was a great event that took place just outside our office doors. We had to get involved.

To rename and rebrand The Canadian Council for International Co-operation/Le Conseil canadien pour la coopération international. (Yup. That’s a mouth-full.)
My role
I worked with my team of writers and designers to rename the organization, create messaging, and craft a new visual identity and brand.
My responsibility was to manage the creative process and guide talented individuals.
IPValue license high-tech patents and are trusted to do so by the world’s most innovative companies.
Scope
To rebrand the company and elevate their brand to better reflect the innovation-based company that they have become.

I worked with a team of designers and writers to rebrand IPValue. I contributed ideas along with the rest of the team, with my logo design being chosen by the client.

The Telepin platform lets mobile operators and digital banks put the power of a wallet-on-a-phone in the hands of individuals.
With more than 256 million subscribers and more than a million merchants, they have securely processed more than 10 billion+ transactions.
I was the Creative Director on this account. My role included working with the design and web team to develop a world-class brand that gave Telepin a vibrant and unique identity. The elements are graphic, iconic, and distinct.
